These are the official rules (the “Official Rules”) governing the Ray & Dregs Tim Horton’s ‘Mini-Sticks’ Contest (the “Contest”).
No purchase necessary. The Contest is open only to legal residents of Canada, who are 19 years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited.
Contest period commences Sunday, September 6th, 2020 at 01:01 p.m. Pacific Time and ends on Friday, October 2nd, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time (the “Contest Entry Period”).
To enter the Contest, visit www.rayanddregs.com/ray-dregs-contest/ (the “Contest Website”), during the Contest Entry Period (Sunday, September 6th 2020 at 01:01 p.m. Pacific Time to Friday, October 2nd 2020 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time), and follow the official Contest registration instructions and rules as shown on the Contest Website. Limit one entry per person. Multiple entries by the same person will result in disqualification and forfeiture of any prizing.
The following prizes (each, a “Prize”) are available to be won: two (2) Grand Prizes, each including a full set of the six (6) current Tim Horton’s Lockers with Mini-Sticks, one (1) autographed exclusive Ray Ferraro Locker with Mini-Stick, one (1) autographed exclusive Darren Dreger Locker with Mini-Stick, one (1) autographed Ray Ferraro NY Islanders Jersey, and one (1) one hundred dollar ($100 CAD) Tim’s Rewards pre-paid gift card. Gift card is subject to all terms and conditions contained thereon.
Each Prize has an approximate retail value of $400(CAD).
Prize Substitution / Conditions
all winners are subject to verification of entrant eligibility and full compliance with these Official Rules of the Contest. Before being declared a Prize winner, selected entrants must correctly answer a time limited skill testing math question, verify their identity and sign a liability/publicity release form. Prizes must be accepted as awarded; no substitutions will be allowed. Sponsor reserves the right to modify and/or substitute any prize for one of comparable or greater value. Should any selected entrant be unwilling or unable to comply in full with all requirements of these Official Rules, or if that entrant cannot be contacted after Sponsor has made at least three (3) attempts over a period of three (3) days, that entrant will be disqualified and the Sponsor may, in its discretion, select an alternate entrant for the same Prize.
A random draw will be conducted in Vancouver, BC at 12:01 p.m. Pacific Time on Tuesday, October 13th, 2020 to select two (2) entries from all eligible entries received. The sponsor will contact the selected entrants by email.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received in the Contest.
By participating in the Contest, each entrant grants perpetual unrestricted permission for the Sponsor to use the entrant’s likeness, image, name and voice for the purposes of promotion on any traditional or digital or social platform in any media without further notice or permission or compensation.
Limitation of Liability
Sponsor of the Contest is not responsible for unsuccessful or failed entries into the Contest due to uninterrupted or unavailable network, server, ISP – Internet Service Provider, Website, or any and all other lack or connections, accessibility or computer software or hardware malfunctions regardless of whether human or mechanical including typographical or mathematical tabulation errors including without limitation the tabulation of player points, and the announcements of prizes or in any Contest-related materials. The above limitation of liability includes any 3rd party service provider contracted by the Sponsor to provide any computer/software/server services to the Contest.
Tampering / Hacking
Sponsor of the Contest is not responsible for damage or injury to any entrant or their computer devices related to or resulting from participating in the Contest or visiting any website. Attempted tampering or hacking of the Contest by any entrant will result in immediate disqualification.
Modification / Termination / Suspension
Sponsor of the Contest reserves the right to at any time solely deemed necessary by the Sponsor, modify the rules of the Contest, or suspend the Contest or terminate the Contest in the event of intervening factors which interfere with the ability of the Contest to be administered as planned.
All applicable federal, provincial, municipal, territorial and local laws and regulations apply. The laws of the Province of British Columbia shall apply to any questions surrounding the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules.
For Quebec Residents
Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux (“Regie”) for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
